When excess skin of the upper eyelid folds and hangs down it creates an aged look or even partially obstructs vision. Blepharoplasty (Bleph for short) is a procedure that involves excising skin and/or fat from eyelids – often with tightening of the lateral canthus region.
Blepharoplasty is sometimes combined with Brow (forehead) Lift. When combined, the two procedures brings about a major improvement & rejuvenation of the periorbital region, as seen in the photos below.
