Squamous Cell Cancer (SCC) are more aggressive than BCC and is taken more seriously as far as the timing & urgency of surgical repair and the safety margins taken during surgery. They are also more likely to spread to lymph glands (or through blood stream) than BCC, often needing more extensive procedures. However, if caught early (e.g; In-situ) they can be sometimes treated with non surgical means such as Liquid Nitrogen or Efudix/Aldara topical applications.
However, the great majority of these cancers requires surgical excision and reconstruction.
