The operation takes around 3-3:5 hrs an often requires a hospital stay of 1-2 nights, return to daily activities is generally within a few days, return to work within 2-4 weeks depending on general health and the state of wound healing. Patients would need to be in a supportive Bra for a period of 4-6 weeks post surgery.
